It is reported that in 2010 at the Geneva Sotheby's auction a pink diamond, called "The Graff Pink" ("the pink diamond"). The diamond weighs 24.78 carats, the auction price is $46 million 200 thousand, a pink diamond world auction record, and record any diamonds, gems and jewellery world auction record, now the world record is the pink star break.

当晚，“粉红之星”以4.9亿港元落槌，加上佣金，最终以约5.53亿港元成交。它是美国宝石学院历来评定过的最大颗内部无暇艳彩粉红钻，此前估价约为4.6亿港元。
“粉红之星”原石重132.5克拉，由戴·比尔斯公司于1999年在非洲开采时得到，经过两年的精心打磨及切割而成。其颜色及净度皆获美国宝石学院评定粉红钻的最高评级，化学成分方面更被评定为最纯净的Type Ⅱa品质。
据悉，苏富比曾于2010年在瑞士日内瓦拍卖一颗粉红钻石，名为“The Graff Pink”(“格拉芙粉红钻”)。这颗钻石重24.78克拉，当年的拍卖价是4620万美元，创下粉红钻石的世界拍卖纪录，同时创下任何钻石、宝石及珠宝世界拍卖纪录，如今这个世界纪录被“粉红之星”打破。
